A heart-wrenching picture of landslide in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand has come to the fore. Near Najang on the Tawaghat Lipulekh road in Dharchula, suddenly a large part of the mountain filled up and fell on the road late in the evening. Fortunately, there was no loss of life or property due to this landslide. The video of this landslide was made by a passerby passing by which is now going viral on social media. Tawaghat Lipulekh Highway has been completely closed for traffic due to landslides. Due to the closure of the road, 40 passengers along with the local people are stuck in Bundi. It is being told that this road was opened on Thursday itself, but due to landslide, the traffic has come to a standstill. It was fortunate that the vehicles passing by did not come under the debris of the hill. The Chardham Yatra is also being affected due to rain. There was a massive landslide from the hill near Phata on Kedarnath Highway on Wednesday evening. At the same time, tons of debris and boulders fell from the hill on the highway. Fortunately, the drivers stopped seeing the debris falling from the hill. However, there was some damage to a passenger bus. Traffic is being disrupted on Badrinath and Kedarnath highways at many places due to landslides after the rains. Commuters are stuck in jam for hours. Due to incessant rains for the past one week, life has come to a standstill.
